Polish War Memorial. Northolt was the main base for Polish airmen in the Second World War and the monument is surmounted by an eagle and is engrafed with the names of the 14 squadrons of the Polish Air Force. It was unveiled in 1948. On the wall behind are the names of 1241 airmen who died on operational flights. They had heavy  losses . The monument is by M.Lubelski on a a stone base.
