19 Pub. Ex- Regent cinema previously a furnishing shop This is a typical Wetherspoon's conversion of the  first purpose-built cinema in Walton, which opened circa 1920. In the 1920s and Walton was a centre for film production in an early version of Hollywood. Photographs  showing the town's history are display. The cinema had had a Melotone organ in 1937.

St.Mary’s  Church.  Founded by Aasher Alfred the Great's Bishop.  Norman church spoilt by restorers.  Norman scalloped capitals.  1180 14th roof monuments, scolds bridle.  Nice old brasses.  Monument to Shannon by Roubiliac. Organ case. Chantry monuments.
