Batchwood Drive

Batchwood Hall Grimthorpe's own house, designed by him in a unique style, but given neo-Georgian details and much altered since 1912. The main house is eleven bays wide. At the side service wing, as originally built, with a broached turret housing a Grimthorpe clock. Inside, a central hall with a grand staircase with two arms, leading to Ionic columns and iron balustrade.
