Thames Tributary - Honeypot Stream flowing to Darent. Noah's Ark
Darent Tributary Honeypot Stream
Flowing west towards the Darent south of Otford
Post to the west Child's Bridge
Post to the east Kemsing
Church Street
Penfield
Tanners Cross. Site of a wayside shrine
Edith’s Road
Noah’s Ark could refer to some higher ground where animals could go when the river flooded, but it actually seems to refer to the name of a house built in the area c.1700
Noah’s Ark Bridge
Railway bridge. The earth round is chalk which must have been brought to the area by the railway builders. Possible that some houses in the area were built for railway workers. In the Second World War a Hurricane crashed on to the railway line in this area.
