Red Lodge Road

Railway Hotel. Built 1882 in order to serve potential tourists arriving by railway.

Station Approach

West Wickham Station. Built 1882.  Now runs between Hayes and Eden Park on South Eastern Trains.  Built as part of the West Wickham and Hayes Railway. Footbridge between the platforms but otherwise like Eden Park. It suffered a direct hit in May 1941, which landed between the platforms. It was rebuilt in 1958 in brick with proper canopies.

Goods Yard. On the down side London end. Handled vast amounts of domestic coal but closed 1963.

Wickham Green

The village name for this bit of the area.
