and stones. These trees were planted
to commemorate coronations and jubilees of British monarchs. Five trees and six
stones are in place. The earliest was planted for Victoria’s jubilee – but this
was hit by lightning in 1987 and the stumps have been turned into a bench. The
stone for the coronation of Edward VII
has been uprooted.
Broxbourne Wood. An 82 acre wood bought by Herts
