The brook flows south east towards the River Roding and is joined by a tributary from the west.

A small wood by the Cripsey Brook. In the 19th it was twice the size it is now and much in the south was destroyed in the 20th. There is much c coppicing and there is Hornbeam), Ash), Field Maple and Haze interspersed with some oak.
