Crofton Woods. Woodland of Metropolitan Importance. There are Streams, which rise here, and feed the Kyd Brook and Quaggy in Blackheath. The heath occupies flat ground sloping north. There are old coppices and farmland here.
Sparrow Wood
Lennard Hospital, deep in the woods of Crofton Heath was the smallpox isolation unit which was opened from about 1900 to 1956
