Hadley Road
The road was built as a requirement of the enclosure act of the 1780s.
Hadley Well cottage.  There was once a well in this area
Pumping Station Enfield Waterworks.  The Enfield Local Board of Health set up a municipal waterworks in 1855.  This pumping station was built at Hadley Road in 1902 and passed to the Metropolitan Water Board in 1904.  It was a tall building pumping a well next to Salmon's Brook. It had steam pumping engines, consisting of a vertical triple-expansion engine by Ashton, Frost and Company of Blackburn and two Worthington compound engines. These were removed in 1948, and replaced by electric pumps. It pumped water to Plumridge Hill Water Tower. Disused and converted to housing.
Parkside Farm. The farm land was acquired by Middlesex County Council from Trinity College Cambridge following Green Belt legislation in the 1930s. It has been farmed by the same family since 1938, when it was a mixed dairy and arable farm. Although they still farm some wheat and oilseed rape the dairy cows in were sold in 2002 and the farm specialises in Pick-Your-Own crops.
