Stanmore Hall. Originally 1847 for John Rhods. Later oil magnates, etc. Morris worked there.1850 Hindu sculptures for East India Co James Forbes. Fire in 1979 and restored but lumpy addition on the NE side.
Springbok House, previously called Warren House, Islamic Centre, built for Sir John Keyser of the Colne Valley Water Company. Robert Smirk also lived there and altered it.
