Sandy Lodge Lane

Moor Park Station. 9th May 1910. Between Rickmansworth and Northwood on the Metropolitan Line and also to Croxley. On the Metropolitan Railway and opened as ‘Sandy Lodge’. Outside the station there's a little stream running. In 1923 the name was changed to ‘Moor Park and Sandy Lodge’. Moor Park is a famous golf course. In  1950 the name was shortened to simply ‘Moor Park’. In  the 1960s it was rebuilt
